Cornelissen
Although I started singing as a child, I was well in my twenties when I rediscovered singing in choirs. A few years later I started studying classical voice with Karin van der Poel in Utrecht. Besides solo singing, choral repertoire remains close to my heart. I participated in Meesters&Gezellen multiple times, and currently sing in Consensus Vocalis and the newly founded ensemble Fonos.

I sang my first concert with Fonos in the Antonius van Paduakerk in Nijmegen
Today I made my debut as a bass soloist in Bach's Johns Passion] with Houtens Kamerkoor Rondo! It's quite a busy concert for me, as I sing all roles (Christ, Petrus, Pilatus) and the aria's. Tomorrow I sing Christ and the two aria's with Collegium Altena, and on 10 and 25 April there's two more concerts with Rondo.
Tonight is the premiere of Bruid te Koop! in Enschede, my first production with Consensus Vocalis!
Sanne Berghuis and I will be performing two songs at the Bartholomeus Gasthuis in Utrecht this afternoon: Sanglots by Poulenc and Sowewoenie by Dick Kattenburg.
Performance of 'Ay Amor!', a project of the singing department at the HKU, at the lied festival 'Leve het Lied' in Tivoli Vredenburg, Utrecht.
Fonos is about to give it's first public concert, around some music of Monteverdi: Songs of Love and War. I designed a poster for the concert.

Bach's Johns Passion with Houtens Kamerkoor Rondo and Houtens Ensemble Sinfonia, where I sang all bass solo parts.

The 2021 edition of Meesters&Gezellen is a collaboration with Capella Amsterdam and its conductor Daniel Reuss.
Dit indrukwekkende werk, dat Haydn schreef in opdracht van een Spaanse bisschop, heeft hij in 3 versies achtergelaten. Het kamerkoor voert de bewerking uit voor solisten, koor en strijkkwartet.
